This recently-launched nonprofit organization helps young women in low-income countries to pursue higher education by providing financial scholarships. As part of our commitment to the Pledge 1%, Coveo will sponsor approximately 100 university scholarships through the program.

In 2021, Coveo joined industry leaders like Salesforce, Atlassian, and Yelp in the Pledge 1% movement. Our commitment is to donate 1% of our time, products, profit, and equity to non-profits.

At Coveo, we chose Knowledge and Education to be at the center of our 1% Pledge. Our initiatives will prioritize programs for young people (aged 6 -18 years old) in vulnerable social groups.

Education is key to empowering people to do more on their own. And, one of the best ways to make a lasting impact on society. We believe that knowledge and education are key levers in reducing inequality and poverty, promoting wellness, and broadening opportunities. We call it 'democratizing knowledge'.

  • Supporting 8 (and growing!) non-profit organizations.
  • Pledging to positively impact as many vulnerable youths as possible and their families every year.
  • Volunteering program that pledges 12,000+ hours of employee time per year to important causes.

Our commitment to sustainability

Our in-office sustainability keeps growing. This means renewable energy in Montreal and Quebec City. Ecological waste reduction and management programs. Recycling batteries and electronics -- even donating refurbished devices to charitable organizations.

We’ve partnered with Greenly to measure and reduce our carbon footprint significantly in the next five years. We also use environmental criteria when choosing suppliers. This minimizes the effect of energy consumption and waste on our planet.

The Coveo team wants to do their part, too. So, we’re encouraging them by reimbursing monthly mass transit passes for anyone who chooses public transportation.

We are making donations to organizations working on improving quality of life and sustainability practices. (Ex: Environmental Defence Canada)

Discovery and investigation into industrial standards for environmental practice certifications are underway: from BCorp, to ISO and more. In addition, a partnership for in-depth evaluation of our carbon emissions.

Our commitment to governance integrity

We commit to adhering to elevated levels of corporate governance. We keep the best interest of our shareholders, employees, customers and communities at heart. We are on top of emerging corporate governance trends and are assisted by world-class experts that continuously help us maintain a solid corporate governance framework.

Our Risk and Governance Committee spearheads and oversees our ESG strategy at the board level. The Committee ensures our initiatives, policies, and programs follow current and emerging trends that may affect the business or our industry, from public disclosure and engagement with stakeholders to issues such as risk management and cybersecurity.
