As a Senior Data Analytics Developer you would join us in our work to build new features, standardize data formats, optimize operations, prevent failures and make sure we can handle the data volumes on our platform that is built on Snowflake, the cloud-based data-warehousing solution. 

Specifically you would help us in our work to transform event data into a normalized and consistent Service Data Model, which would enable our customers to perform their analysis and reporting.

Here is a glimpse at your responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and implement efficient data pipelines for comprehensive analysis of user interactions within applications.
  • Analyze large volumes of data, estimating loads from millions of daily events.
  • Optimize data processing by setting up pre-calculations in data storage solutions to enhance the performance of reporting dashboards.
  • Continuously improve system performance and ensure the analytics tools are current with industry standards.
  • Provide support to team members by assisting with data extraction and analysis queries, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Coordinate with teams responsible for product integration to ensure adherence to data standards and protocols across applications.

Here is what will qualify you for the role: 

  • A minimum of 5 years experience as a Data Analytics and a good understanding of Cloud Technologies.
  • Solid experience in SQL, ETL, Data Warehousing and Data Lake Architecture.
  • The ability to become a reference for our team based on your solid knowledge in building data pipelines, data models and analytics for large distributed systems.

What would make you stand out:

  • Proficient in using DBT for data transformation to enhance data quality and streamline analytics processes.
  • Experienced with Prefect for orchestrating complex data workflows and ensuring reliable data pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Java and/or Scala is a strong asset.

This role requires you to be in the office full-time, whether it be at our Quebec, Montreal, Weert, or London locations. Our modern infrastructures are designed to enhance cross-team collaboration and promote overall well-being.

Our offices in Quebec City, Montreal, London and Weert are designed to foster collaboration and your well-being. We gather there on our pillar days two times a week to strengthen in-person interactions and encourage creativity, all while providing you with the flexibility of a hybrid environment.
