In this role, you will be expected to: 

  • Drive the development and execution of our global security strategy for both our platform and corporate environments, ensuring robust protection against emerging threats and alignment with industry best practices. You will oversee the day-to-day operations, prioritize and advocate for the security practices that support Coveo’s business goals, meet our customer’s high expectations, encourage innovation and emphasize efficiency and scalability.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing security team that cares about the business and maintains excellent collaboration with all departments, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, acting as a positive leader whom team members and other leaders proactively seek out for advice.
  • Serve as Coveo’s key advisor to the executive team and board on cybersecurity matters, including risk management, incident management, compliance & governance.
  • Collaborate with and influence multiple business functions, including nurturing close relationships with R&D & IT to ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations and industry standards, as well as Legal, to align customer agreements with our security posture and to guide your approach in customer calls.

Here is what will qualify you for the role:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, in a technology or software company, with at least 5 years in a leadership role and a proven track record building and executing on a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire accountability and motivate teams to achieve excellence and to ensure a seamless collaboration across the organization, in order to integrate security into all aspects of the business. 
  • Extensive knowledge of various information security management frameworks and the critical thinking necessary to decide how to apply them to serve different business cases.

  • Creativity and resourcefulness, ability to think outside the box to mitigate complex security risks, such as identifying and implementing innovative solutions under pressure. 
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex subjects regarding strategic and tactical cybersecurity programs to partners of varying technical levels, ranging from board members to customers.
  • Natural ability to adapt and shift gears in a rapidly changing environment and a good sense of when structure is needed and how to set up the right processes.

This role requires you to be in the office full-time, whether it be at our Quebec, Montreal, Weert, or London locations. Our modern infrastructures are designed to enhance cross-team collaboration and promote overall well-being.

Hybrid
Our offices in Quebec City, Montreal, London and Weert are designed to foster collaboration and your well-being. We gather there on our pillar days two times a week to strengthen in-person interactions and encourage creativity, all while providing you with the flexibility of a hybrid environment.

Remote
