Create intuitive and user-friendly dashboards!

Our Finance team is at the heart of our success, whether it’s in terms of our day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, and more! With this comes a lot of data currently stored across various spreadsheets.

As an intern, you will work on a large project that will move data out of spreadsheets and into PowerBI dashboards, making the data more accessible and digestible. If you’re looking to strengthen your data visualization skills to support business outcomes, this is the role for you!

What your typical day would look like: 

  • You start the morning with a team meeting where you share your updates, keep up on the team’s progress and share ideas to elevate each other.
  • Next, you get to work on building out your current dashboard in PowerBI. You’re creating a dashboard that will accurately capture and display information so that the Finance team can easily refer to it. 
  • After lunch, you meet with the Business Intelligence team to learn more about how they approach building their dashboards and gain best practices from them. 
  • You then have a check-in meeting with your mentor to receive some feedback on what you have been working on. You also shadow them in their current tasks and learn more about their day-to-day role.
  • The day is coming to an end! You take time to validate the data of a previous project and ensure that the dashboard is accurately displaying the data.

Here's what will qualify you for the role:

  • You are currently studying Business Technology Management, Information Systems, or a related program. 
  • You have experience with Microsoft PowerBI, whether through a previous internship or a class project. 
  • You’re passionate about data visualization and have a data-driven mindset. 
  • You understand business metrics and their importance within an organization.

  • You lead with a proactive mindset and enjoy bringing creativity in problem solving to your work.
  • You aren’t afraid to ask the right questions to get a thorough understanding of your tasks; knowing that you don’t know everything is important to your success.
  • You have a basic understanding of financial concepts.

This role requires you to be in the office full-time, whether it be at our Quebec, Montreal, Weert, or London locations. Our modern infrastructures are designed to enhance cross-team collaboration and promote overall well-being.

Hybrid
Our offices in Quebec City, Montreal, London and Weert are designed to foster collaboration and your well-being. We gather there on our pillar days two times a week to strengthen in-person interactions and encourage creativity, all while providing you with the flexibility of a hybrid environment.

Remote
