You’ll definitely leave your heart in San Francisco after Impact 2019!
While you’re here, please take a chance to visit some of our favorite San Francisco spots.
EAT
Joelle Mathieu-Lessard, Director of Events, describes this place as “a classic, but awesomely good.” Take in the amazing street art while you’re there! Coveo favorites include the brioche jam bun and porchetta sandwich.
Boulette’s Larder and Boulibar
With the beignets described as a “revelation” online, this restaurant in the beautiful Ferry building is an excellent early morning-stop for pastries, sandwiches and more. Conrad McDougall, Coveo’s Sitecore Partner Manager, be found enjoying hot porridge with cashew milk, along with a side of fresh summer fruits before his morning jog.
Do yourself a favor and do not leave San Francisco without taking in the beautiful ambience of Mourad, not to mention the delicious Moroccan cuisine. Isabel Tinoco from our Alliances team has her eye on the tasting menu as a great way to sample their best dishes.
DRINK
It’s early morning and you need to caffeinate for the day ahead. Grab a coffee of course, BUT do not leave without trying one of their toasts. Who could say no to a slice of tomato, ricotta and basil toast? Say hi to our Director of Customer Experience, Tracy Carson, while you are there in the mornings!
The “Starbucks of San Francisco” is a great place to get a caffeine fix and according to Rosalie Girard, Coveo’s Business Value Advisor, the waffle breakfast is not one to miss!
This one’s for the ‘gram! The patio and outdoor space is the perfect backdrop for your relaxing-with-a-pretty-drink post.
This spot is a classic for the Coveo Impact team. Get ready to belt out your favorite song – this one is a great karaoke spot! You can definitely find the Coveo team belting our hearts out here after the Big Bash on Thursday evening.
This “subterranean hideaway on Market Street” is a hidden (really, actually hard to find) gem with great cocktails and ambience. Coveo Community Manager Isaac Berzins recommends pairing the live jazz with a Romper Room cocktail.
Step out of the city and into what one Impact team member described as “another world.” This old-school tiki bar, open since 1945, is a great place to enjoy a fun tiki cocktail and watch thunder and lightning.
PLAY
If you’re itching for a road trip with amazing views, drive out to Carmel’s Refuge spa for a relaxing experience and perfect way to unwind after a hectic few days at Impact.
Nestled in Golden Gate Park, the Conservatory of Flowers is a tranquil and relaxing way to spend an afternoon!
Another one for the ‘gram! Take in arguably the most scenic views of San Francisco on a ferry from Sausalito the Ferry building. Running all day!
Pacifica
Just a 30-minute drive from downtown, this spot has great surfing. You can rent surfing equipment at Nor Cal Surf Shop.
Make sure to check out the exhibition from revolutionary sculpture artist Alexander Calder, the life-like spider sculptures from Louise Bourgeois and the Fire sculpture from Teresita Fernandez.
Get your hike on! Go up Telegraph Hill, walk around Pioneer Park and end your day taking the elevator up Coit Tower.
