2018 is looking very good for the Coveo for Sitecore community.
We’re thrilled to announce that of only 329 worldwide Sitecore MVPs, three of our employees and 127 employees at our partners received this honor.
Coveo for Sitecore Product Manager Simon Langevin became a Strategy MVP after becoming a Technology MVP last year and Coveo for Sitecore Tech Evangelist Jean-François L’Heureux is a Technology MVP for the second year in a row. In addition, Isabel Tinoco, Alliance Manager for Coveo for Sitecore, was awarded the newly created Ambassador MVP status.
Now in its twelfth year, the MVP program identifies the community members “who provide valuable online and offline expertise that enriches the community experience and makes a difference.” The Sitecore community nominates experts in strategy, commerce and technology, as well as a new category this year, “ambassadors” who “provide value for the Sitecore community, by influencing partners, industry, customers and decision makers and who provides product feedback, supplies references and case studies.”
Isabel Tinoco was named an MVP for the first time this year. “I’m honored and thrilled to join the ranks of MVPs,” she said. “The new Ambassador MVP title really showcases Sitecore’s commitment to building up the community and providing real value for our partners and customers.”
About 39 percent of the 2018 MVPs are affiliated with the Coveo for Sitecore community in North America and EMEA. “We’re really proud of how well represented the Coveo for Sitecore community is among MVPs,” Simon Langevin, 2018 Strategy MVP, said. “This isn’t just any award. References from existing MVPs are very important, so it’s a huge honor to be recognized by your peers.”
We would also like to extend a special congratulations to one of the MVPs in the Coveo for Sitecore community. Amanda Shiga, VP of Marketing Science at Valtech, was also given the honor this year. Amanda has co-presented with our Coveo for Sitecore team, and has recently co-authored a whitepaper with Simon Langevin, “Simplifying Personalization in Sitecore xDB.”
As a two-time Technology MVP, Jean-François L’Heureux knows the amount of work involved in achieving this status. “It’s not just flexing your technical skills. You need to share and contribute to the community and become a leader among your peers.”
